Spring Greening 2025

Back in New Orleans’ Holy Cross Neighborhood for our 16th year. Focus again this year was on an 1890s shotgun house: continuing historic window restoration, repairing & repainting shutters, replacing siding. Volunteers from KU, WSU & Nebraska also worked to replace the decking on the shed at the Laurentine Ernst Garden - a building we first worked on in 2012 to design & build a south-facing roof, gutter & deck to protect it, but the hot humid climate of south Louisiana has not been kind. Of course, we also worked to make repairs and maintain the amazing structure at the Delery Street Playground - an annual effort each year.
